Issue Position

We are fortunate to live in a relatively safe county, particularly one positioned between Baltimore and Washington, D.C. As a police officer with over 21 years of service to the community, I have a unique perspective on what resources are needed by law enforcement to keep our families, highways, neighborhoods, and businesses safe. Public safety is not just arrests and prosecution, but a larger, collaborative effort between police, medical, prosecutorial and mental health professionals. These service efforts must address the immediate needs of the community, as well as, the long-term goals of safety and mental well-being.

I will work hard to ensure proper laws are in place to enhance prosecution of drunk/drugged driving offenders, protect children from predatory adults, and ensure spouses are protected from domestic violence.
